Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and DevJK ("Company" or "Developer") regarding the HOME PT mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Health and Physical Safety Disclaimer
HOME PT is only a timer tool intended to support your workout flow and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or personal training under any circumstances. You are solely responsible for determining whether your physical condition and health status are suitable for any exercise performed through the Service, including routines you create yourself. You should consult a qualified physician or medical professional before starting any exercise program. The Company bears no legal responsibility for any injury, worsening health condition, physical harm, or property damage arising from or related to exercise performed using the app. All exercise-related risk remains entirely with the User.
2. Service Plans (FREE & PRO)
HOME PT offers both a free (FREE) plan and a paid (PRO) plan.
- FREE Plan: Users with a basic account may use the timer service and store data within a limited scope at no charge, including the creation and storage of up to two routines.
- PRO Plan: The current HOME PT PRO upgrade is a one-time lifetime in-app purchase. PRO users can access premium features, including removal of the routine creation limit, subject to the pricing and policy information shown in the app.
3. In-App Purchases and PRO Lifetime Purchase
All payments within the Service, including PRO purchases, are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and purchase entitlements are verified through RevenueCat.
- Product type: The current PRO product is a one-time lifetime purchase, not an auto-renewing subscription. The Android product ID is homept_pro_lifetime, and the iOS product ID is com.devjk.homept.pro.lifetime.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled according to the refund policy and support process of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store used for the purchase. The Developer does not store store payment methods or card information.
- Restore Purchases: If you change devices or reinstall the app, you may restore previously purchased PRO access by signing in with the same store account or member account and using the in-app restore purchase feature.
- RevenueCat purchase records: RevenueCat may process app user ID, product ID, purchase token/receipt, purchase/restore history, and entitlement status for purchase verification, fraud prevention, entitlement management, purchase restore, and purchase analytics. Routine contents, detailed workout records, and health information are not transmitted to RevenueCat.
4. User Accounts
To support safe data backup and synchronization, users may register through a social account or email account.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and password.
- You may access your personal workout data from multiple devices, such as smartphones and tablets, by signing in to the same registered account, but account sharing or transfer to another person is prohibited.
- The Company reserves the right to suspend or delete an account if abnormal access, abuse, or other conduct in violation of these Terms is identified.
5. Account Deletion and Data Handling
Users may request deletion of their HOME PT account and associated data either inside the app or through the public web page.
- In-app deletion: Signed-in users can request deletion from MY INFO > Delete account. Re-authentication may be required depending on the sign-in method.
- Web deletion request: If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email through the account deletion request page.
- Deletion scope: The Firebase Authentication account and Firebase Firestore user backup data, including routines, exercises, workout records, reminders, and related metadata, are deleted or scheduled for deletion.
- 30-day deletion grace period: To prevent immediate re-registration and abuse with the same account, minimal information such as email or sign-in provider identifier may be retained in a pending-deletion record for up to 30 days. After the grace period, the record and authentication account are permanently deleted by a scheduled job.
- Purchase records: Purchase records held by Google Play, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat may be handled separately under each service's policies for purchase verification, fraud prevention, accounting, refunds, and restoring PRO access.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the app, including its software structure, design, timer engine, pre-calculation logic, text, logos, and other assets, belong to DevJK. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without explicit authorization.
7. Service Changes and Suspension
The Company endeavors to provide stable service, but the Service may be temporarily interrupted due to inspections, replacements, failures, communication issues, or unavoidable technical circumstances. In such cases, notice will be given in advance where possible, or afterward when prior notice is not feasible.
8. Amendments to the Terms
The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable laws. Any revised Terms will be announced through in-app notices at least 7 days before the effective date, or at least 30 days in advance for changes that are materially adverse or otherwise significant to users.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute between the Company and a User shall be brought before a court with jurisdiction in the Republic of Korea.
